簡介(brief introduction)
[a]1939-1940年，我國地質學家嶽希新（1911-?）在四川威遠采到一恐龍化石，經楊鍾健研究把其中一條恐龍定名為嶽氏三巴龍。
它是在亞洲侏羅紀地層中第一次被命名的鳥腳類恐龍。
