<P><STRONG>海地衛生部官員11日表示，海地各地的霍亂疫情升溫，至今死亡人數已增至724人，並且是在一夜之間，死亡人數就激增80多人，其中包括3起在首都太子港(Port-au-Prince)的死亡病例。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>官員說，霍亂感染病例已經升高到1萬1千多人，10日至11日就增加了1千多人。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>被視為霍亂源頭、位於海地中部的阿蒂博尼特河(Artibonite)，自從10月中旬爆發霍亂疫情後，至今已經蔓延到太子港。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>自從今年1月13日，太子港發生芮氏規模7.0的強震至今，太子港<SPAN class=t_tag href="tag.php?name=300">300</SPAN>萬人口中，仍然有將近半數，約<SPAN class=t_tag href="tag.php?name=130">130</SPAN>萬人居住在衛生條件不良的帳蓬營區中。</STRONG></P>
