<P><BR><STRONG>發生怪病的地方是印度北部（烏塔.普拉德什省），最近兩星期當地出現怪病，患者頭痛，發燒，嘔吐，最後死亡．在（烏塔.普拉德什省）首府（路克腦），（到目前為止，（路克腦）已經有51人死亡，340人感染．</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>當地衛生人員已經把病人檢體送到印度首都新德里化驗。</STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG>衛生人員懷疑，當地環境衛生不好，垃圾堆在路邊，下水道沒有蓋子，自來水管流出的水是灰色的，但居民必須用這種水做飯跟洗臉，這可能導致當地出現怪病。</STRONG></P>
