<P><STRONG>中國大陸自七月以來，許多地區氣溫居高不下，乾旱少雨，尤其是貴州、湖南及重慶地區最嚴重，初步統計，全中國受旱災影響的農地達六千多萬畝，另外，428萬人及388萬頭牲畜飲水困難，當局擴大抗旱行動。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>報導指出，貴州、湖南及重慶三地的降雨量比去年同期少了五到七成。各地河水稀疏乾涸，水庫儲水大量消耗，使得缺水問題益發嚴重。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>當局擴大抗旱行動，除了增列資金外，並積極調度水利工程，截至目前，各地動員抗旱人力將近90萬人。</STRONG></P>
