<P><STRONG>（路透洛杉磯5日電）維京集團（Virgin Group ）創辦人布朗森（Richard Branson）今天宣布，計畫駕駛一艘外型很像飛機的潛水艇，探索海洋深處；布朗森過去曾駕駛熱氣球到世界各地冒險。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>布朗森在加州新港灘（Newport Beach）記者會中說，這艘18英尺長潛水艇能潛入3萬6000英尺深的海底。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>這項被稱為「維京海洋」（Virgin Oceanic）的任務，計畫2年內潛入海底5次。團隊計畫年底首次到太平洋馬里亞納海溝（Mariana Trench），潛入3萬6000英尺深海底。</STRONG></P>
