<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>美國聯邦傳播委員會（FCC）宣布撤銷LightSquared建造4G-LTE網路的許可，理由是相關測試顯示會對GPS導航裝置產生干擾。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>法新社報導，在FCC發布這項決定之前，國家電信暨資訊署（NTIA）就向FCC提出警告，「LightSquared所提議建設的行動寬頻網路勢必將影響GPS服務，而且暫時沒有減輕這種潛在干擾的確實可行的方法。」 </FONT></STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>LightSquared曾提議建設一個集合衛星和陸地技術的開放式接入無線寬頻網路，但美國相關政府部門對此進行的測試顯示，該網路將干擾75%的GPS設備性能的發揮。 </FONT></STRONG></P>
