<P><STRONG>（中央社台北23日電）中國大陸最大網路搜尋引擎營運商百度公司計劃在新加坡設立研究中心，加快在東南亞發展網路服務的速度。</STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG>百度今天在電郵聲明稿中表示，這個由百度和新加坡科技研究局（Agency for Science and Technology Research，A*STAR）合資設立的研究中心，是「百度致力在東南亞強化旗下產品的重要步驟」。</STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG>在克服<SPAN class=t_tag href="tag.php?name=Google">Google</SPAN>公司（Google Inc.）挑戰，稱霸大陸搜尋引擎市場後，百度去年推出阿拉伯語與泰語服務，加緊拓展海外版圖的腳步。</STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG>百度的大陸網路同業騰訊和盛大遊戲也都已在東南亞收購網路資產，壯大在當地的聲勢。</STRONG></P>
