<P><STRONG>（中央社東京12日綜合外電報導）日本世紀強震和大海嘯證實導致至少7百多人喪生，另有近<SPAN class=t_tag href="tag.php?name=190">190</SPAN>0人失蹤受傷，並將東北部夷為平地，為此由日本自衛隊主導的大規模救災行動，已經展開。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>日本首相菅直人（Naoto Kan）表示，他已派出5萬自衛隊員投入救災工作，有190架軍機及25艘軍艦也已投入東北部重災區救災工作。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>國家警察廳（National Police Agency）今天下午說，有703人確認喪生，740人失蹤，另有<SPAN class=t_tag href="tag.php?name=104">104</SPAN>0人在這次天災中受傷。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>除此之外，警方表示，仙台（Sendai）沿岸屍體橫陳，發現<SPAN class=t_tag href="tag.php?name=200">200</SPAN>到<SPAN class=t_tag href="tag.php?name=300">300</SPAN>具遺體。仙台位於這次強震震央附近。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>據信橫屍在瓦礫碎片中的死難者仍不計其數。搜救人員尚未抵達重災區。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>國家警察廳指出，逾21萬5000人仍暫時棲身在5個縣所設的1<SPAN class=t_tag href="tag.php?name=350">350</SPAN>處避難所。</STRONG></P>
