<P><STRONG>（法新社舊金山21日電） 谷歌（<SPAN class=t_tag onclick=tagshow(event) href="tag.php?name=Google">Google</SPAN>）今天宣布，計劃在史丹福大學測試超高速寬頻網路；谷歌共同創辦人裴基（Larry Page）和布林（Sergey Brin）都曾就讀過這所大學。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>谷歌提供每秒1GB的網路傳輸速度，給加州巴羅艾托（Palo Alto）史丹佛大學校園約850位教職員住家使用，這個速度比目前平均連網速度快了<SPAN class=t_tag onclick=tagshow(event) href="tag.php?name=100">100</SPAN>倍。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>總部設在加州山景市（Mountain View）的谷歌表示，這項光纖技術計畫定<SPAN class=t_tag onclick=tagshow(event) href="tag.php?name=2011">2011</SPAN>年初啟動。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>谷歌年初宣布，擬在美國向「1個或多個試點」5萬到50萬居民，提供速度每秒1GB的超高速光纖到府網路。</STRONG></P>
