<P><STRONG>Joulemeter是微軟提供的一個估算電腦耗電量的小程式，透過估算CPU等級與使用量、螢幕亮度、磁碟機數量與使用頻率、周邊配備的種類與數量…等資訊，以及是否使用較耗運算資源的軟體與運算工作等，估算出該電腦的大致耗電量，以作為一般使用者節能減碳的參考或者資料中心、使用大量電腦的辦公室在耗能方面的評估參考。</STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG>這程式目前還在很初期的1.0 Alpha階段，使用方法很簡單就是啟動程式後讓它在背景監控即可，不過估算出來的耗電量是否與實際用設備測量插座端的數字相符？</STRONG></P>
