<P> </P>蟬蛻︰無氣味，性微涼。
<P> </P>能發汗，善解外感風熱，為溫病初得之要藥。
<P> </P>又善托隱疹外出，有皮以達皮之力，故又為治隱疹要藥。
<P> </P>與蛇蛻並用，善治周身癩癬瘙癢。
<P> </P>若為末單服，又善治瘡中生蛆，連服數次其蛆自化。
<P> </P>為其不飲食而時有小便，故又善利小便；為其為蟬之蛻，故又能脫目翳也。
<P> </P>蟬亦止小兒夜啼，又善醫音啞。
<P> </P>憶一九三六年秋，余友姚××，偶為外感所襲，音啞月餘，余為擬方，用淨蟬蛻（去足土）二錢，滑石一兩，麥冬四錢，胖大海五個，桑葉、薄荷葉各二錢，囑其用水壺泡之代茶飲，一日音響，二日音清，三日全愈。
<P> </P>以後又用此方治愈多人，屢試屢驗。
