<P><BR><STRONG>警方指出，台北時間昨晚，智利首都聖地牙哥以西高速公路上一輛公共汽車與一輛貨運卡車相撞，造成18人喪生，另有10多人重傷，被送到附近醫院救治。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>警方說，事故原因是公車逆向行駛，與迎面而來的卡車相撞。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>智利國家檢察院已就這件重大車禍進行深入調查。</STRONG></P>
